I have been so very busy the last several months ---
Getting ready for Cam & Ambers big day, Madalyn #7 Birthday at American Girl, having Cody & Sarah here for the week of Spring Break---OMG, time has flown by, so much to tell...well, it will have to be later this week, I am gonna have to go back several months and decide what to post!
Mark and Lindsay and the girls have been with us most of last month, their house here sold and they bought one in Midlothian and closed the day before Cam/Ambers wedding....Today was the official last day they stayed, Madalyns last day of 2nd grade at SV, so we are a little lonely and sad tonight...my house sure is guiet! It is a beautiful home, lots of room for the girls to grow up in, then room for grandbabies one of these days too!I know how proud Mark and Lindsay are of it!
We got a new daughter in our family, Amber Bryant Keller...she is a blessing, Mike and I have prayed for the right person for our son and she is a prayer answered...loves her church, her family, and most of all, our son...he has not had a lot of luck in the finding the right person, some his fault, some not...he has been hurt so much, so we are so grateful for Amber, she loves him with all her heart and he loves her, the wedding was perfect! Pictures to come very soon!

A few week-ends ago, we decided to go on a day trip to Fredricksburg, Luckenbach and to Boerne...a few stops included the Wildseed Farm, they have such good jellys and preserves there. After that we proceeded to Luckenbach, just in time for a longhorn to "run" by us(and I do mean RUN), so we followed him, getting to sit on him and take a few pictures! Dale and I had fun in the not so big General Store, we shopped a little, warmed up to the old time stove, while Mike and Doug looked around outside.
After Luckenbach we drove to Boerne to a famous restuarant where there are plates from all over the world, called Popos--food was good, atmosphere was really interesting...Thank you Jim for mentioning it to me, I grew up in Kerrville and probably have gone there when I was younger but don't remember the place.
We have such good friends to travel with and have fun, they love us and our children and grand-daughters like their own as do we with their children and family.
Happy 75th Birthday to papa, we sure surprised him!
We invited his "39ers" from church, a host of other friends and relatives....everyone met at ElFenix in Grapevine, his fav restaurant...we had his youngest daughter Robin come in on a bus all the way from Virginia by surprise also---the highlight of the night was when papa got to the restaurant, he was just looking around, greeting people when finally he saw Robin, the look on his face was priceless! And not to mention the video of his life, lots of tears then!
Papa had friends from church, from his neighborhood, all his children, most of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren there...was a very special night!

Memories and a ticket stub is all that is left of Celine Dions concert---it was wonderful, very classy, good seats, everything I expected! We had a wonderful night shared with our great friends, Dale & Doug...On the way to Dallas, the weather was horrible, the thermometer kept getting lower and lower, raining so hard, at one point it was 31 degrees, raining, I almost wanted to go back home, almost....After the concert, we walked out, it was clear and 40degrees, a very easy drive back to Waco.
The only down part was on the tickets it stated no cameras or video devices, SO I left my camera home--well when we got to the AA Center inside the door, it said we could bring cameras in, just no flashes...UGH, how I wanted a few pictures...
Mike was not really excited about this concert at all, but afterwards, he said it was the best he had ever gone to---that she was a very classy lady so, I was so relieved! And the BEST PART for him was he still got to see the last 2 minutes of the Texas game and Texas WON, woohoo!
