Brandons Going Away Party

This Sunday, Mike and I traveled to Kerrville where my sister and her family lives. Brandon is her oldest son, he enlisted in the Army Reserves a few years ago right after his HS graduation---he got the word last week that it was time to go to Iraq early June--he left Monday night to go to San Antonio for intensive training before Iraq..he is a Black Hawk crew chief, mainly medivac evacuation, so this will be a very long and dangerous time for Brandon...
Mike designed the artwork on Brandons cake and pic, the Blackhawk pics were from a friend at work, he scanned them and made a collage then we had WalMart scan the paper and make the cake, it really turned out awesome!
We enjoyed getting to see him and seeing some friends of the family, also getting to meet his sister Tiffanys new fiance... they plan on waiting till Brandon gets back before they get married.

    Oh Debbie! I had no idea that is why you went to Kerrville! I have a special place in my heart for the military and their family. We will pray for God's protection over him. Keep me updated on how everything is going with him and we will keep him in our prayers!
